Beryl Goldberg is a photojournalist based in New York City. A documentary photographer with a strong sense of social justice, Beryl has led photography workshops and presentations at various schools and organizations.  In a long career that included traveling on assignment and independently to countries in Africa, Latin America. Asia, Europe, as well as within the United States, Beryl has portrayed the joy of the human spirit with positive, upbeat images that are also true and valid; often focused on international health and development; and always respectful and honoring the daily lives of the people she photographs. Beryl’s clients have included the New York Times, major book publishers and international organizations, including the United Nations, Population Council, and Planned Parenthood .
