James Minniear

Guest Teaching Artist

James Minniear writes plays, screenplays, and children’s books and over the years has taught workshops with a real passion for helping others develop and master the craft of Dramatic Writing. With a BA in Drama Studies and Playwriting from Purchase College and MFA in Dramatic Writing from Goddard College, James has written numerous children’s plays over the last few years including “Pe-nel-o-pe”, “A Hungry Moon”, “Trinacria”, “For Neverland’s Sake”, and “The Iron Forest”, all produced by ProArts Playhouse in Hawaii where James currently resides. His recent publications include two books from his Naya Papaya children’s books series, titled The Puzzle and To the Rescue.
